A FANTASTIC firework display will mark the 21st anniversary of Redditch's Astwood Bank carnival.
It takes place in Astwood Bank on November 8 and Redditch firm Shockwave Pyrotechnics will be putting on a spectacular musical firework display.
The firm, which launched in July 2007, uses cutting edge digital and remote control firing systems and specialises in musical shows.
Debbie Pearson, who runs the business with husband, Glen, said: "We are delighted to have been asked to do this special commemorative show at S.E. Davis & Son.
"We have got something really special lined up and are going to blow peoples' socks off!"
The Edgioake Lane extravaganza starts at 6pm and the firework display will be at 7.45pm. Live music will be provided by popular local band, the O'Cajunal Playboys.
There will be a licensed bar, hot food, a funfair and other attractions.
David Hart, a Carnival Committee member, said: "We are keeping prices the same as last year. I'ts £5 for adults and free for children but £3 for under 16s not accompanied by an adult
Last year's fireworks show was extremely successful and we want to follow this up with another great show to mark our 21st anniversary.
Debbie, from Shockwave Pyrotechnics, said their business had gone from strength to strength and their biggest show to date had been the farewell show at the Reading Speedway, marking its closure after 40 years.
"It was a very poignant moment for us. A great show, but sad. The Astwood Bank Carnival event will be a nice opportunity to celebrate success with a party theme," she said.
The firework shows are all unique, being tailored to meet individual client needs. These range from weddings to football club events.
