Murder inquiry after man, 66, found dead in Worcester park

A MURDER inquiry was under way today after the death of a man found in a Worcester park.

The body of 66-year-old Gordon John Whitehouse was found in Gheluvelt Park early on Wednesday. He lived alone in Whitbourne, near Worcester, and had been in Worcester city centre on Tuesday evening before his death. Police say he was the victim of a “violent physical attack.”
