Police in plea for witnesses after man dies in Midland car crash

POLICE today continued to appeal for witnesses after a man died and five others – including three children – were hurt in a crash.
The 23-year-old man from Wolverley, Kidderminster, suffered multiple injuries in the accident, on the A442 between Shatterford and Kidderminster at about 7pm on Friday.
The dead man, who has not yet been named, was driving a black Honda Coupe which collided with a silver Vauxhall Zafira.
His passenger, also in his 20s, and a father and his three young daughters in the Zafira suffered minor injuries and were taken to hospital for treatment.
The Zafira driver and his children, aged eight to 12, were treated for shock, whiplash and seatbelt injuries.
