A FORMER Worcestershire vicar who claims his parishioners forced him out of his post will have to wait weeks before a judge decides whether he can sue the Church of England for constructive dismissal.Reverend Mark Sharpe claims he told the Archdeacon of Dudley that he had been given a ‘poisoned chalice’ when he took up the role in Hanley Broadheath, Worcestershire in 2005.The 44-year has alleged parishioners slashed his tyres, smeared excrement over the family car, spread broken glass over his drive and even poisoned his pet dog during a four-year terror campaign.Read
