On 14th October, Steve Gould completed a four mile charity walk with Sir Ian Botham to raise funds for Leukaemia Research, having recovered from the illness following diagnosis in 1996. He had a bone marrow transplant from his sister the following a year, and following a slow and painful treatment path, has recently been told he is now cured.
