Basketball tournament comes to Birmingham

ON Wednesday February 6, the University of Birmingham hosts the Inaugural Kukri Power 4 Basketball Tournament.

This one day event will showcase Britain's foremost university basketball teams and is a prelude to the highly anticipated BUSA Championships.

In addition to bringing together four of the best teams in the country, this tournament will also mark the first time a university team from Northern Britain faces a Southern opponent prior to the championships.

Recent years have seen university basketball in Britain reach its highest levels. Not only has the competition become more intense, but the level of play has been elevated as well.

Today's BUSA games are high scoring affairs, filled with spectacular dribbling, slam dunks, long range accuracy and guarantee entertainment for all.

As a leader in BUSA Basketball, Birmingham is privileged to host this tournament. Why not come see them play?

The first tip-off is at 11am at The Sports Hall with the final taking place at 7pm.
