Children celebrate World Book Day

Children from Wheelers Lane Primary School in literary themed costumes

CHILDREN at Wheelers Lane Primary School in Kings Heath have been celebrating World Book Day this week.

The children and staff have been dressing up as their favourite animals from stories.

During the day, the children have had visits from Kings Heath Library and have been taking part in lots of book related activities.

The children have also raised money for Bookaid, a charity which provides books for schools and libraries in the developing world.
