Cum On Feel The Noize at Slade festival

THE third annual Sladefest is being held at the Robin 2, Bilston on Easter Sunday.

This year brings a unique opportunity to play guitar through an original Noddy amp! Whether a guitarist or not, everyone is welcome to have a go! The amp will be set up exactly as Noddy used to have it (ie LOUD!!!) and its current owner will be on hand to answer any questions there may be about it. This is an opportunity not to be missed by any Slade fan.

The fun starts at 12 noon with a Slade DJ and culminates with 3 sets of live music from the UK's foremost tribute band, Flamin' Slade in the evening.

There is plenty to do throughout the day with a Slade related quiz, DVD's, an acoustic set from Peter, (with special guest vocalist, Holly) and the Slade poet laureate Paul Cookson returns with a host of new poems.

Wearing 70's garb is highly encouraged and there is a prize for the best dressed guy and girl.

Tickets are available from the Robin2 - www.therobin.co.uk, £10 in advance, £12 on the door.
