Your News - Clifton Primary School to compete in America

Teachers and staff from Clifton Primary School in Birmingham.

A BIRMINGHAM school is to take on the rest of the world in America after winning a UK crown.

Clifton Primary School from Balsall Heath won the National Destination Imagination Final in Bradford.

Clifton travelled to Bradford Academy on March 8 to take part in the this creative and team building competition.

Clifton won in the 'Hit or Myth' category where they had to produce a science investigation based on the story of 'Theseus the Minotaur'.

They also had to complete an 'Instant Challenge' where they had to solve an unseen bridge building problem in the space of five minutes.

This victory means that Clifton can go to the Global Finals in Knoxville, Tennessee, USA as UK Champions.

All accomodation and and food is paid for and we are working hard to raise the money for flights.
