Rhythmic gymnasts score a clean sweep

TWENTY-FIVE City of Birmingham Rhythmic Gymnasts competed in the National Team Championships at Burton on Saturday - and all 25 won medals.

The Under 10 Girls became the National Champs in their first ever competition, while the Under 12 team did very well gaining 3rd pos, in their first competition too.

The very young Juniors, who are made up of 12-year-olds, became National Champs with a clear lead from the beginning against 15-year-olds.

With two Senior teams coming 2nd and 3rd. It is the first time City of Birmingham have entered so many teams, and the first for any club in the country to have every child come home with a medal.

The team are now preparing for Eurogym in France and are looking for support. Anyone who can help can contact lisa.higgins123@btinternet.com
