THREE short track speed skaters from the Mohawks Ice Racing Club in Solihull have helped Great Britain achieve their most successful season for 15 years.

THREE short track speed skaters, Tom Iveson, Jon Eley and Paul Stanley from the Mohawks Ice Racing Club, Solihull, have helped to achieve the Great Britain team's most successful season for fifteen years.

The international season culminated in a third place finish for the relay team at the World Championships in Korea earlier this month.

As part of the four man relay team, that also included Paul Worth from Nottingham Ice Racing Club, Mohawks skaters Tom Iveson, Jon Eley and Paul Stanley, they have followed on from fantastic results earlier in the year that have included a silver medal at the European Championships and a bronze at the sixth World Cup in Salt Lake City.

The next competition they face is the British Championships in Dundee, Scotland that marks the end of the season.

They will take a few weeks well deserved rest before resuming their training for next season and the Olympic Games in Vancouver 2010, where they are certain to be medal contenders.
