Knowle and Dorridge Ladies Circle appoint a new chairperson

Helen Johns and Mandy Lyth

KNOWLE and Dorridge Ladies Circle have announced their new chairperson as Helen Johns.

This week Mandy Lyth handed over the badge of honour.

The ladies meet up twice a month and take in part in all sorts of activities with the aim of having fun and making new friends.

Former chairperson, Mandy said: "We have done all sorts this year from dancing, theatre and carol singing to frog racing, painting and a games night. It is a great way to meet different people and have great fun as well.

"Every evening we do something different that usually ends in a meal of some kind and a good laugh!"

Helen is very excited about the year ahead. She added: "We have lots of events planned and we are kicking off the year with ice skating and a Chinese buffet on May 6.

"We are always looking for new members and would love any ladies, aged between 18 and 45 and interested in having some fun, to contact us."

If you would like to find out more, please contact Mandy Lyth 07970 382084.
