Birmingham students artwork goes on display

An exhibition of work from 30 second year Birmingham Institute of Art and Design Fine Art students has gone on display.

This exhibition highlights the current, but ever-evolving artwork of some of the second year students at BIAD in Margaret Street.

It includes a wide range of mediums and practices, from contemporary painting and sculpture, to video, installation, photography and performance.

It is organised and curated by some of the same Fine Art students, and will mark the important half-way point of these artists' degrees.

The exhibition is at the Works Gallery, in Birmingham city centre, and runs until 5pm on May 1.

The Works Gallery can be found on the Third Floor of the Jubilee Works, 130 Pershore Street, Birmingham and a short walk from Chinatown and the Markets or Digbeth.

If you have trouble finding it, call a member of the exhibition team on 07719 265 888 or the Works Gallery on 0121 233 2232.
