Boys Brigade clean up in Smethwick

The Boys Brigade on their litter pick in Smethwick.

A BIRMINGHAM Boys' Brigade Company and the 16+ group took part in a big clean up on the streets of Smethwick.

The 78th Birmingham Boys' Brigade, based at Providence Church in Mafeking Road, Smethwick, carried out the tidy up and were helped out by Sandwell Council as part of its Big Spring Clean Campaign.

The youngsters meet at Providence Church on Thursday nights and have categories for different ages..  Anchors is aged 5 to 8 and meet between 6.45pm till 8.00pm, Juniors is aged 8 to 11 and meet 6.45pm till 8.00om, Senior and Company Section is 11 to 19 and meet 7.45 till 10.00pm.
