Moose International hands out £4,000 to charities

THE Sutton & Erdington Arden branch of Moose International recently handed over cheques equating to over £4,000.

This was as a direct result of the annual Father Christmas streets collection in and around the Sutton and Erdington Area.

The beneficiaries of the money raised were: Conductive Education £2,250, St Giles Hospice £1,250, 29th Birmingham Boys brigade £500, 31st Birmingham Girls brigade £500.

Lodge governor Rod Pretty said: "We are very thankful to the people of Sutton and Erdington for their kind generosity and are really pleased to hand over such a vast amount of money. Each charity provides us with a wish list that we try to complete with the money we raise.

"As our membership ages though we need more people to join our organisation, if you would like to know more about the exploits of Moose in the Midlands then either check out www.mooseinthemidlands.co.uk or call Paul on 0121 680 8909."
