Return of the Jackie Wood Midland Amateur Snooker Championship

AFTER a long break the well loved, and respected Midland Amateur Championship has been resurrected.

Showing still just how popular the game is over 70 entries were received, the players were broken up into 2 qualifying groups to start with and played down to the last 16.

The last 16 and Quarter Finals were played Riley's Snooker Club in Castle Vale, Birmingham on 19th April.

Both Semi Finals and Final will be played at Ladywood Social Club, Ladywood on 6th, 7th and 8th May.

Joe Perry, currently playing in the World Championships at Sheffield has been kind enough to lend us his match table for use for the matches.

All matches start at 8.00 pm

Tickets are £2 for the Semi Finals, and £3 for the Final.
