Belle Voce choir returns to Alvechurch

BELLE Voce, a chamber choir of approximately 16 voices, makes a return visit to St Laurence, Alvechurch on June 14th having performed there previously in June 2004 and November 2007. Those concerts were very successful judging by the size of the audience on each occasion.

The programme this year will be very varied with something for all tastes in music. Ranging from very early and more recent choral pieces, traditional folk songs, right through the ages to modern pop and show songs. Tickets for this concert will cost £10 to include a glass of wine or soft drink during the interval.

Formed in July 2000, the choir have performed regularly in the Bromsgrove, Stourbridge, Lickey and Alvechurch areas. They have sung the last two Christmases for the National Trust at Hanbury Hall and hope to appear again for Christmas 2008. They rehearse on Monday Evenings at Lickey First School.

Anyone interested in further information about concerts or any other aspect of the choir especially if you are interested in joining the choir, please contact Martin Wright 0n 0121 445 4335 - particularly if you sing Tenor!
