Argosy MTC stage Singin' In The Rain at the Crescent Theatre

Argosy Theatre Company

CLASSIC musical Singin' In The Rain will be performed by Birmingham's Argosy Musical Theatre Company at the city's Crescent Theatre.

The film that spawned the classic Gene Kelly number is a musical about Hollywood in the 1920's when silent pictures were giving way to the "talkies".

The advent of sound changes all the movie making rules and Monumental Studios prepares it epic "The Duelling Cavalier" includes some of the best-loved comedy routines, dance numbers and love ballads ever written.

The show runs from June 17-21.

Argosy Musical Theatre Company is a well established amateur theatre society of people from varied age groups and backgrounds who meet regularly to sing, dance and act together for mutual pleasure and to give entertainment to our audiences in Birmingham and the surrounding area.

We meet once a week in Birmingham and our main theatre production is in May or June, with concerts in either October or November.

For more details call Kris on 07951 212780 or come along to the Welsh chapel in Loveday Street, Birmingham, on Monday evenings at 7.30pm.
