PC World trio raise cash with sponsored walk

STAFF from PC World in Birmingham, and Stafford held a charity walkathon across the West Midlands to help raise money for Switched On Communities, a community involvement program supported by the Dixon Group.

Jonathan Foster and Rob Carnall, who work at PC World in Selly Oak, and Hayley Robertson from the Stafford branch, began at PC World in Wednesbury and finished five hours later at the Selly Oak branch, travelling through West Bromwich, Oldbury then the long walk into Birmingham.

Throughout the 13.5 mile walk the trio dressed in fancy dress costumes to add more comical moments and were cheered on by onlookers along the way.

Event organiser Jonathan Foster set up this 13.5 mile walk with friends and colleagues Robert Carnall and Hayley Robertson and are continuing to collect donations from team mates from both PC World Branches to give to the Switched On Communities program.
