Have a canal boat ride with the Truman Enterprise Narrowboat Trust

The Truman Enterprise Narrowboat Trust.

THE Truman Enterprise Narrowboat Trust is celebrating 40 years of community boating, providing residential and day trips on the canals for youth and community groups from Walsall and surrounding areas.

To mark this milestone (and to raise funds for the continued operation of the boats) for the next two weekends they will be offering public boat trips on one of their narrowboats, the AJ Felgate, starting from Walsall Town Wharf just outside the Art Gallery.

You can go along between 10am-5pm on Saturdays and Sundays on June 14-15 and June 21-22 for a half-hour boat trip along the canal.

All they ask in return is a donation to their funds to help them reach their goal of £150 per day. There is no need to pre-book.

See the website www.truman-enterprise.org.uk for further details or phone Sue Williams 01543 671427, email: sue@truman-enterprise.org.uk.
