Alanis Morissette gig - fan Melissa Reeves hits back
BIRMINGHAM Mail reader Steven Moylan's recent review of Alanis Morissette at Birmingham Carling Academy, where he slated her performance, prompted this response from fellow reader MELISSA REEVES.
I TOTALLY disagree and was outraged by Steven Moylan's report on the Alanis Morissette gig in Birmingham Carling Academy as i was there!
It, in my and a group of others opinion who also attended thought the quality of the sound wasn't that horrific and we feel he has been very unfair and this must only be his opinion and should NOT speak for all of the people at the gig.
The fact she made no eye contact was irrelevent. As a vocal tutor and vocalist myself I feel the vocals were crystal, couldnt fault them!
I was at the front of the audience and a group of 10 of my friends were at the back we all shared the same delight for her performance last night. Maybe if he had stayed for longer as his job should intend he would have observed and reported a different story.
What a negative man!
