Boldmere swimmers take the plunge for charity
MEMBERS of Boldmere Swimming Club will be taking the plunge from Bournmouth Pier in aid of the British Heart Foundation.
They will be some of around 1,000 battling freezing cold water, waves, marine life and of course all the other swimmers.
Those taking part from Boldmere are Emma Buckroyd (10), Tom Buckroyd (18), Rob Cash (41), Amy Feasey (14), Lucy Gale (13), Emma Hewitt (18), Phil Hewitt (13) and Chris Littler (18).
The swim is believed to be the logest offshore charity swim in the UK.
