Sutton Girls FC U14s make it a pre-season fantastic four

SUTTON Girls FC Under 14's made it an emphatic fourthth pre-season tournament win in succession over the weekend at Oldswinford Youth FC's summer tournament.

It was played at Stourbridge Rugby Club and with tough opposition in attendance the Sutton side managed to net 20 goals and only concede one during the five rounds en-route to the final against a very resilient Dudley Utd.

Sutton dominated the match having missed a penalty late into normal time and then striking the woodwork in the final minute. With the match ending up goalless after extra time Sutton held their nerve to go on and win in a penalty shoot out with Alice Bradley performing a wonder save to keep the teams winning streak in tact and ended 5-4 victors.

Our Sutton Girls under 12's team also left the tournament winners too having kicked off earlier during the same day.
