STAFF from Barclays' Commercial Banking in Colmore Row, Birmingham, raised £672 for the Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundation with a quiz night.
The 60 employees and a team from the charity itself attended a quiz night and raffle hosted by Customer Service Director Rob Hawthorn.
They battled it out through seven rounds of questions and had the chance to win fantastic prizes donated by local businesses, these included Utopia, Bushwackers, Don Salvo, Saks Hair, Bella Italia, Ashas Indian Restaurant, Cadbury World and theBirmingham Rep theatre.
The event held at the Orange Studios raised £672 from the quiz entry fees and sale of raffle tickets. Monies raised were matched £ for £ as part of the Barclays Community investment programme.
Event organiser Emma Orford said: "The quiz was an enjoyable social event that also helped to raise awareness of the charity and the sponsored Walk for Diabetes which the team are taking part in later in the year."
