Birmingham nurse Julie Cresswell runs half marathon for charity

ON October 26 mental health nurse Julie Cresswell will be running Birmingham's first half marathon to raise money to purchase a variety of books that can be used for either individual or group reading for the psychiatric suite in which she works.

"Books can be very therapeutic, in times of distress, the written word can evoke a multitude of emotions, they may comfort, inspire or empower people in their journey towards recovery," she said.

If you would like to sponsor Julie or would like to 'pledge' a new book to the psychiatric suite in which she works, contact her on Julie.Cresswell@bsmhft.nhs.uk or 07759 340996.
