Reader Keith Roper's picture of Birmingham Town Hall

Birmingham Town Hall. Picture by Birmingham Mail reader Keith Roper.

BIRMINGHAM Mail reader Keith Roper was out and about the city with his camera and sent us this picture of newly-refurbished Birmingham Town Hall.

"I just love how brilliant this building now looks," he said.

The town hall, which opened in 1832, has hosted legendary acts such as The Beatles, Pink Floyd, the Rolling Stones and Led Zeppelin.

It recently re-opened following a £35 million refurbishment after closing in 1996.
