
STUDENTS enjoyed some driving lessons on their school playground.
Year 11 pupils at Lyndon School in Solihull took the wheel after attending three weekly driving classes as part of the Core Skills programme.
Tuition was led by instructors from the Ladies 1st driving school in Acocks Green as part of the course which aims to equip students for a productive life after school.
Student Hollie Richards said: “It was good experience and great to try it out.It has prepared me for when I begin my real driving lessons.”
Fellow pupil Rebecca Lee said: “It was scary at first but so exhilarating. I had the best experience of my life.’’
