		<description><![CDATA[<p>A MAN was rushed to hospital after falling from a roof in Birmingham.&nbsp;West Midlands Ambulance Service was called to Raddlebarn Road in Selly Oak at 12.05pm this afternoon.&nbsp;An ambulance, a rapid response vehicle and an ambulance officer were dispatched to the scene.&nbsp;A West Midlands Ambulance Service spokeswoman said: &#8220;On arrival at the scene crews found a man who had reportedly fallen approximately 12 feet from a roof.&nbsp;&#8220;The man, believed to be in his 40s, was treated at the scene for chest and abdominal injuries. The patient was fully immobilised and given pain relief before being conveyed to Queen Elizabeth Hospital Birmingham for further assessment and treatment.&#8221;</p>]]></description>
