Jaguar Land Rover makes £559m profit in three months

RESURGENT Jaguar Land Rover has clocked up record profits of £559 million in just three months.

JAGUAR Land Rover owners Tata Motors have unveiled a new man at the helm – in the shape of well-known motor industry executive Carl-Peter Forster.

Mr Forster, most recently the head of General Motors, Europe, is the new Group Chief Executive Officer of the Indian conglomerate’s motoring operation, which includes JLR. Last November Mr Forster left GM after the Detroit group reneged on a deal to sell the British and German operations to Canadian car parts group Magna.
