Skins preview for clubbers

HIT teen drama Skins is launching its new series with an exclusive club night at Birmingham's Custard Factory next month.

Fans of the show will be battling it out to get tickets to the event which will feature an exclusive screening of the first episode of the new show followed by a late night club event at the Gibb Street venue in Digbeth.

Radio 1 DJ Annie Mac will be gracing the stage and there will also be sets from the New Young Pony Club, DJ Yoda and Crystal Castles.

Event spokeswoman Christine Crowther said: "Not only will they be premiering the first episode but in true Skins style they'll be throwing a deeply decadent party, featuring live sets from the glitterati of the indie, electro and nu-rave scenes."

As well as being an exclusive chance to see how cliffhangers from the first series panned out it could also be a chance to glimpse a few of the cast members first hand.

Fans will only be able to get into the free event by logging on to E4.com, Myspace.com and Bebo.com from today.

Winners will be texted with an E-Ticket straight to their mobile phones in an attempt to beat the touts after the sought-after passes.

The night is on February 7.
