Top night of drum and bass

Roni Size

RAVEOLOGY will take over the Q Club next week as the popular drum and bass brand hosts its fourth birthday and award-winners ball.

The night has moved on from its early roots in the Lakeside club in Kings Norton when there was a maximum audience of only 600 and now regularly packs out the Q - one of the city's largest venues - with 2,000 or more clubbers.

Raveology will be going head to head with fellow nightlife brand Innovation in the main arena when the line-up will feature some of the best drum and bass artists, including Roni Size, MC Skibadee, Andy C, MC Dynamite, DJ Hype, MC Eksman and MC Bassman.

The chapel area will play host to more chilled beats thanks to Liquid V featuring Bryan Gee, Artificial Intelligence, Utah Jazz, Jordan V, Mosus and Kubuki.

In Arena 3 stars of the future will be strutting their stuff in a night of unsigned talent including Alpha, Stanza, CKB, Gravity, Assasin and Quantum.

Arena 4 will be a bassline fans paradise with Representin hosting some of the city's best talent from the bass and 4x4 scene and Arena 5 will be taken care of by Heaven on Earth residents who will be laying down hardcore beats with legend of the scene DJ Vibes.
