Mark Watson, Glee Club

NO-ONE does the bumbling comedian better than Mark Watson, it seems.

But he achieves the impression in such an affable, warm-hearted way that he quickly endears audiences to him.

The comic, increasingly familiar following appearances on TV quiz Mock The Week, largely bases his new stand up show on a debate about the point of life.

This followed a chance encounter with a scientologist on a London street on Mark's 27th birthday just a year ago.

He questions whether his life has amounted to a great deal, despite being happily married, while confessing his dream is to be a sports commentator.

Mark, currently embarking on his third novel, also deals with the heightened state of security which recently resulted in his razor being confiscated at Heathrow Airport.

And other, equally amusing topics, once he finally emerged from the back of the audience.
