Keane @ Wolverhampton Civic Hall

IF anyone was in any doubt about the future of Keane after the recent Priory stop for lead singer Tom Chaplin, those fears were blown out of the water by this concert.

Tom and the band gave 110 per cent to the performance which could easily have transferred to a much bigger venue.

With two top selling albums to choose from they dug deep into Hopes and Fears with Bend and Break plus singles Somewhere Only We Know, Everybody's Changing and Bedshaped while much of the new album Under The Iron Sea including Nothing in my Way, Is It Any Wonder?, Broken Toy and Crystal Ball was also showcased.

Tom touched on his own recent problems when explaining the words to Hamburg Song and Try Again, saying this last track had become his motto.

Keane have built a strong following, with this concert sold out months ago and if they can keep turning out shows like this it will be the NEC next time we see them here.
