IN the last few months, Lily Allen has been unfairly portrayed as a foul-mouthed, mockney chav who likes to make cheap digs at other celebrities.
But if you ignore the headlines and concentrate on what she does best, such as performing a stunning set in front of a packed Carling Academy in Birmingham, then you'll find her a far more appealing prospect.
She strutted on to the stage to belt out her last single LDN, which put her fans in the party mood.
This was followed by a string of other bouncy, ska-meets-pop numbers, from her debut album Alright, Still, such as Shame For You, Knock 'Em Out and Not Big.
New single Littlest Things shows a more softer side, while she displayed her diversity with a couple of acoustic cover versions.
She polished off her desperrately short gig with her first number one single Smile and the glorious Alfie, an ode to her younger brother.
