Alison moyet, Symphony Hall

WHETHER solo or one half of a duet, Alison Moyet remains true star quality.

The lady formally known as Alf is reviving her 1980s Yazoo association with Vince Clarke by embarking on their first tour together in 25 years.

Tracks from The Turn began with concert opener One More Time. But, backed by an excellent five-piece band, Alison also leant into her full repertoire and back catalogue.

Her trademark creamy vocals were particularly effective on classic songs Love Letters and Windmills Of Your Mind.

And, for those lucky enough to have tickets for Yazoo when they go on the road, Alison revived the delightful Only You.
