Visiting this friendly chippy on a busy Friday afternoon lunchtime meant I could watch a wide range of customers requesting everything from chicken to burgers and kebabs lashed with various sauces.

After ordering a simple cone of chips ready to eat unwrapped and handing over £1, I was amazed to receive 50p change.
