Light Night
Following the stunning success of the Council House projection show as part of the city's first ever Light Night last year, the phenomenon will be returning once again with light shows, performances and late-night cultural entertainment for all to enjoy. It will also include ‘Bollywood Steps’ as part of the 175th anniversary of the Town Hall.

Diwali
For nearly 20 years, the Hindu Council of Birmingham, with the support of the council, has been organising a spectacular Diwali celebration to mark the Hindu Festival of Light. The event has grown into one of the biggest and most professionally organised events in the West Midlands and attracts some of the biggest artists in the Asian music industry, including Jay Sean and Raghav. It is also a showcase for the region’s new and upcoming singers, dancers and visual artists.
