MARTIN Campbell's The Mask of Zorro was one of the best old fashioned romps of the 90s.
Eight years later, his sequel The Legend Of Zorro is found wanting a good sprinkling of magic dust.
Don Alejandro de la Vega (Antonio Banderas) and his beautiful wife Elena (Catherine Zeta-Jones) have raised a spirited 10-year-old son Joaquin (Alonso). But frustrated Elena issues an ultimatum: Alejandro must choose between wearing Zorro's mask - or his family.
With the couple's sexual tension now lacking, Anthony Hopkins long gone and only a couple of decent action sequences to hold out for, this is all rather dull.
The DVD extras include deleted scenes and 14 featurettes.
