Keeping Mum (15)

SUTTON Coldfield's former Arthur Terry School pupil Niall Johnson directs Rowan Atkinson and Kristin Scott Thomas in Keeping Mum (15).

Housekeeper Grace Hawkins (a mischievous Maggie Smith) goes to live with the Rev Walter Good-fellow (Atkinson).

He's too preoccupied with God's mysterious ways to notice wife Gloria (Thomas) swinging with golf pro Lance (Patrick Swazye), never mind worrying about the sex life of leggy daughter Holly (Tamsin Egerton, frequently topless).

If the dollops of light humour fail to compensate for the lack of tension and credibility, it's all perfectly watchable on the small screen despite copious F-words.
