Get Rich Or Die Tryin' (15)

WE ALL make mistakes and Get Rich Or Die Tryin' is Jim Sheridan's.

A white, mid-50s, six-time Oscar nominee for movies like My Left Foot and In America, Sheridan was a brave man for trying to make a rap movie.

But a cliche-ridden film which has MTV's paw prints all over it barely deserves to see the light of day. 50 Cent stars in his own semi-autobiographical story as Marcus.

After losing his mother young, he's drawn into the unholy world of inner city drug dealing, turning to rap music after a near-fatal shooting. You can guess the rest.

DVD extras include 'A Portrait Of An Artist' featurette.
