Just Like Heaven (PG)

JUST Like Heaven will have an appeal for old romantics who are happy to settle for A Paler Shade of Ghost.
It stars the likeable Reese Witherspoon and Mark Ruffalo.
Ruffalo plays David Abbot, a lonely architect moving into a flat in San Francisco, while Witherspoon is a local hospital doctor, Elizabeth Masterson.
The film is always reasonably engaging, with a very funny restaurant scene.
It shows what might have been if such heights could have been sustained by director Mark Waters (Freaky Friday/ Mean Girls).
The DVD extras include various commentaries as well as deleted scenes and an alternative ending.
