MIRRORMASK has enough visual ideas to impress big players like Steven Spielberg.
But the story about a young girl from Brighton wishing she could run away from the family circus to join real life is hard going unless you are a fan of comic genius Neil Gaiman.
The cast includes Rob Brydon, Gina McKee and Stephen Fry debut directed by Alice Cooper's album cover designer Dave McKean.
The DVD extras include eight behind the scenes featurettes.
