THE Detectives, Series One is an interesting release.
It's obviously aimed at fans of the original 1993 TV series, but might well find a new audience with their growing children.
Jimmy Tarbuck, John Nettles and Jerry Hall guest star alongside Det Con Bob Louis (Jasper Carrott) and his partner David Briggs (Robert Powell) as they use intuition and inspired guesswork to outwit the criminal fraternity.
The DVD includes the episodes What The Butler Saw, Hostage, Teed Off, Acting Constables, Studs and Strangers In Paradise.
