The Fog (15)

THE Fog is producer John Carpenter's remake of the Jamie Lee Curtis thriller he directed in 1980.
But this story about a thick pea souper enveloping an Oregon island a century after a shipwreck is directed by Rupert Wainwright.
After Stigmata six years ago, he again fails to develop any tension or character believability.
The only enjoyable scene is when a young boy runs away from the special effects.
The DVD extras include deleted scenes.
