MICHAEL Winterbottom's A Cock and Bull Story is the tale of an 18th century movie within a movie.
Steve Coogan (Tristram Shandy/Walter Shandy) and co-star Rob Brydon (Capt Toby Shandy) argue like Smith and Jones about who should have the biggest part, and whose historically-accurate shoes need the highest heels.
Filmed in such a real way you'll feel like you are there with them in a hotel, this is inconsistently very funny and so likely to be something of an acquired taste.
The DVD extras include premiere footage and a Tony Wilson interview.
