THIS over-extended comedy has been written by Seth Rogan, the Knocked Up bozo who somehow got a newsgirl pregnant.

Here he also plays Officer Michaels, one of two dimwitted cops on the trail of hormone-ravaged guys who naturally just want to eat, drink and have sex.

Superbad will have young audiences both sniggering and belly laughing.

Adults will be left wanting more. Also available to buy for £17.99 (two-disc DVD £19.99) or on Blu-ray (£24.99), with extras including unseen footage and deleted scenes.
