I Am Legend (15)

SUPERSTAR Will Smith plays Robert Neville, a scientist in the near future who is still trying to fight a medical catastrophe which has apparently engulfed the rest of mankind.

Accompanied only with his faithful German Shepherd Sam, he drives around the overgrown streets of Manhattan.

As with Danny Boyle's take on London in the post-apocalyptic 2002 thriller 28 Days Later, it's the metropolitan quietness that is impressive. The climax falls apart, but the journey there is fun.

Also available to buy for £19.99 (two-discs £22.99/Blu-ray £26.99) with extras including a previously unseen alternative ending which actually makes more sense!
