Diary Of The Dead (18)

VETERAN filmmaker George A Romero is back with his fifth zombie feature since he rattled off Night of the Living Dead in 1968.

The New Yorker takes a satirical look at the post 9/11 world and, in questioning what constitutes acceptable screen entertainment these days, culminates with a gruesome final shot that's extremely graphic even for this genre.

By putting the z-z-z-z into zombies, he even proves he could make movies like this in his sleep.

Also available to buy for £17.99 (two-disc DVD £22.99) with extras including a visual effects feature called 'A New Spin On Death'.
