KEVIN Spacey's watchable card drama should appeal mostly to students who fancy their own chances of making an unlikely casino killing.
As maths professor Mickey Rosa, Spacey challenges a group of students to make their numeracy skills and memory patters count on the Las Vegas blackjack tables.
The contemporary rock sound-track is terriFIc and there's some glossy, tightly edited shots to keep you amused.
But, overall, this is not in the same class as Alec Baldwin's film The Cooler (2003), the most recent decent gambling movie set in Vegas.
Also available to buy on DVD for £19.99 (Blu-ray £24.99), the extras include a featurette called 'Money Plays: A Tour Of The Good Life'.
