Lost Embrace (15)

BERLIN's Silver Bear winner in 2004, this film revolves around Ariel (Daniel Hendler) who doesn't fancy working on his mother's lingerie stall in Buenos Aires where Koreans, Italians and Poles like his own family collide.

The bigger lure is finding out what happened to his father who never returned from going to Israel to fight a war.

Director Daniel Burman delivers a mixture of poignant comedy and bittersweet encounter between a father and his young, adult son.

Showing at the MAC only from Fri-Sun.
